    Hi all,

I just figured out that Fast Secure Contact Form is more stable, advanced and easier for me then some other forms I did use before. Everything works fine, except 1 thing.

I did set up the confirmation email message for those who contacts me from my website. There are some tagfields usable for the content of the confirmation email which one goes to the one who fills in the form, but there is no tagfield for the message itself!

    Those are available:
    [from_name]
    [from_email]
    [subject]
    [date_time]
    [ip_address]

I want the content of the message in the confirmation mail. Does someone know how to do that? I did try [message] , but that didn’t work ??

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there
Just a polite note, please don’t use modlook tag as a means to simply get someone to answer your question. Please only use it where you feel a moderator needs to take an action only a moderator could.

Several moderators monitor the tag, and our aim is to respond as quickly as possible, this means we probably have stopped doing something to jump to action.

As a side note, because I have written this reply, your post will no longer show in the no-reply list, meaning its less likely to receive attention sorry about that, though the plugin author should still see it.

@just Here in regards to your comment….

Mike Challis added this help message in the Confirmation email message:

The message fields are intentionally disabled to help prevent spammers from using this form to relay spam. Try to limit this feature to just using the name field to personalize the message. Do not try to use it to send a copy of what was posted.

    Hi @mbrsolution

    Thank you for your reply.

I can’t follow the next piece of comment you wrote: “Mike Challis added this help message in the Confirmation email message:”

What did Mike Challis do? Where?

What do you also mean with this: “Try to limit this feature to just using the name field to personalize the message.”

It is important for me to send the customer a copy of his posted message. Is this possible or not?

    Regards

Hi, I would send that message to your customers to let them know why you don’t want to include the message in the confirmation e-mail. If you want to control spammers then this is the correct cause of action as Mike Challis suggested by adding this help topic.

    Regards
