Confirmation message/s doesnt appear, but mail sends

I am getting the email from the Contact Form 7 (v5.6), in Divi theme, but the message box never appears, and the ‘spinner’ keeps spinning.
Wordpress 6.0
I’ve disabled CF7, and tried making changes with Divi’s defer jquery settings, but still no go.
The form seems to work OK on this test site: https://rickvv.com/ntwjazz/media
but not on this live site.
Have just started working with CF7 (1.32) (lots of plugins, SiteGround host, Optimizer ‘on’)
