• Hi, im sure this is covered in your archives, but I couldn’t find it. I have two questions:

    1. I am unclear about the confirmation page. I see reference to it under Subscribe2 > Settings > Appearance > “Set Default Subscribe2 Page”, and I see that this is the page that the confirmation link sends people to, but it is just taking over the current pages content with many links for “Confirmation”. Am I better off to create a new page called “Confirmation” and leave it blank? What am I missing here?

    2. Is there a URL that I could use to send to current clients saying something like click here to subscribe to our blog _________________, and that link will take them directly to the signup, instead of pointing them to the widget on the sidebar?

    THANKS

    1. The ‘confirmation page’ should probably be more accurately described as the ‘subscriber management page’. It handles subscriptions, unsubscriptions and displays appropriate messages to your readers – like that an email is on the way or that they need to login or a link to their profile (if they are a registered user).

The reason you are seeing lots of ‘Confirmation’ links is because your theme is not using the advised WordPress functions to list your page titles and links. Try a core WordPress theme and you should see this stops happening.

    2. The answer to that depends on where your current client data are stored. If they are already registered in WordPress you can direct them to their personal profile page, accessed by logging into to the admin area and then going to the Subscribe2->Your Subscriptions page.
