Hi! Nice job with the plugin!

I’m having a problem with the hidden checkout fields in some countries like Bolivia or France for exemple. When you select France as a shipping/billing country, the “state” form field disapears but still remaining as “required” when I try to do the payment.

I could disable the “required” status for the “state” field, but I need to keep it as “required” for certain countries like Spain or United States.

I know that woocommerce “class-wc-countries” makes the states or postcodes fields to show or hide depending on the country, but i’m concerned that maybe when the plugin marks the field as “requiered” it overwrites the woocommerce wc-countries code.

    Is it that possible?

    Working with wordpress 3.8.1 & WCPGSK 1.7.0

Not sure i explain myself well enough…
    Thanks anyway!!

Ah, parles català! Molt bé… ??

I published version 1.8.0 now. It includes a management for localization behaviour which allows you to

    * configure the standard 5 form fields that WooCommerce localizes based on customer choice for billing and shipping
    * you can also add or exclude core fields which will allow you to use the base configuration for those fields available via the Checkout Billing and Shipping Section

Probably this will resolve not only your problems. I hope that there are not to many bugs inside. I’ve tested with WooCommerce 2.1.2 and WooCommerce 2.0.12.

Please open a new ticket to communicate about problems with the new version.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Ei, sí, sóc de barna! ??

It works perfect!! So thank you sooo much!! Great plugin and very good job!
I’ll let you know if i find any more problems, so far everything is working ok!

    Thank you!!!

    Hi Ulihake,

I am having the same problem. When I country is once selected for localization by Swiss Knife, the state disappears form the checkout form AND it is required at the same time. I think this is because the parameterfield for a field being hidden itself is also hidden in the localization screen.
Therfore the field State is hidden AND required for the specific country that has been localized thorugh Swiss Knife.

I am using Swiss Knife v 1.9.3. and Woocommerce 2.1.11.
Hopefully you have a solution soon otherwise I will have to dig into SQL tables and remove the record for the localized country, or delete the plugin and all the tables.

    Regards,
    Dave
