    Hi there,

I found that after the last updates of the two plugins (“RVM – Responsive Vector Maps”, “WPBakery Page Builder”), I can no longer use them together!

I use RVM maps on several pages, all other content on these pages is added via the “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin.
As a result, the maps are not displayed, and I see these errors in the browser console:

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery.fn.vectorMap is not a function at jquery-jvectormap-usa_merc_en.js:1

Uncaught Error: Attempt to use map which was not loaded: usa_merc_en
        at new jvm.Map (jquery-jvectormap-2.0.3.min.js:2)
        at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> ((index):523)
        at i (jquery.min.js:2)
        at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.min.js:2)
        at Function.ready (jquery.min.js:2)
        at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.min.js:2)

    (/wp-content/plugins/responsive-vector-maps/js/regions-data/jquery-jvectormap-2.0.3.min.js)

If I deactivate one of the plugins, the errors will disappear.

To be sure of the cause of the problem, I temporarily switched to the standard WordPress theme, and disabled all plugins except:
    – RVM – Responsive Vector Maps
    – WPBakery Page Builder

so this is a conflict between these two plugins

Is there a solution to this problem? All pages on the site are built via “WPBakery Page Builder”, I can’t refuse it.

    Thanks!

    Hello dev333,

sad to hear about this issue and thanks for reaching out to me.
Unfortunately I cannot test myself not having the Wp Bakery Page Builder on my setup.
What you can try first is installing the JQuery Migrate Helper and see if does the job.
I hope that this could solve your issue.

In case this does not work please download the free testing map (install it as a normal plugin): if this map works mean you need to migrate to new map in order to make it work.

This new maps are more reliable and secure.
You can find your actual map here.
You should be able to maintain all eventual settings and markers of your map, but just to be sure I suggest you to export subdivisions settings and markers just in case!

Just let me know and all the best!

    Hi @enrico-urbinati ,

Thank you for your quick response!

Unfortunately, installing and activating the “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin did not fix the errors. The map also doesn’t work and doesn’t display on pages, and I see the same errors in the browser console.
(after installing and activating the plugin, the all caches was cleared of course)

I couldn’t download zip archive because when I click on your link, I get 302 redirect to the Home page.

    Thanks!

    @enrico-urbinati ,

I installed this test map (“Map of SX-70 Land Camera for RVM”), added it via the “RVM” plugin, and created a new test page with this map and several empty sections (“WPBakery Page Builder”).
Unfortunately I get the same/such errors (and empty page)…
I also checked it by disabling all plugins (except these two) and cleared caches…

    SCREENSHOT:
    https://ibb.co/CM5ZMJm

just for an experiment, I tried going back to the old versions of plugins (the previous version of the “RVM” plugin and the previous version of the “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin [6.3.0] https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/preface/release-notes/).
In this case the maps work great and there are no errors

But I can’t stay on older versions of plugins because it’s not safe!

If this is useful for you, I can upload both versions of the “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin to the dropbox for you…

    Thanks!
