Conflict: Enfold Theme – Avia Content Builder

    We are using a exclusive child theme build upon Enfold Theme 4.02 with Avia Content Layout Creator. Until recently we never used the Avia Builder for new post, but recently we decided to do so.

    However when we use the avia builder the ‘Restrict Content’ (free version) plugin does not work.

    It appears that a new post is not checked when build using the Avia builder. A new post IS checked when we use the WordPress internal ‘builder’.

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid this can happen with page builders that use a proprietary method of displaying content that bypasses the normal WordPress display methods. Restrict Content is able to protect content by hooking into the_content filter to remove/replace the page content. If your page builder doesn’t apply this filter to their end result, then Restrict Content simply isn’t able to hook in and make the necessary changes.

    Oke, does make sense! Perhaps I can find their hook also and somehow make it work…
