So that I’m hopefully trying to work out the correct “conflict”. The issue is with what’s shown here: https://cloudup.com/cppCOCGNkfS not showing up for the podcast archives, but is for the courses and regular posts?

What plugin, if any, are you using for the sharing section, if I have this conflict accurate.

Yes, that is the social warfare plugin. That is the one that is not showing up in podcasts, but is everywhere else.

Hopefully that same conflict is also what makes the whole thing disappear if I deactivate Yoast. Not planning to .. but what if something happens to yoast? You know ..

    Thanks!

Hmm. Drat, it’s a premium plugin, so I can’t download and inspect the code without a purchase.

Honestly, I’d recommend talking to them about the issue, if you haven’t already. Our plugin isn’t doing anything special/custom/unique/magical when we register the post types and taxonomies. It’s up to the user or other plugins to make the post types known about to the other functionality within their website.

For some reason Social Warfare isn’t being made aware of the Podcast post type. The only way I can currently picture the issue stemming from our side, would be a user setting like if the post type isn’t set to public for example.

Thanks Michael .. Yes, I have alerted them, but so far … nothing. Plus, I can’t figure out why Yoast is doing something weird too to podcast pages.

But, if you can’t see that I did anything weird when I set it up. (It looks the same as the other post type – Products – too me)

If you would like to look inside my site to see more, let me know and I can privately send info to you to do so.

Thank you Michael .. and thank you for the plugin!

I don’t know anything about the dialog between you and them, but I’d ask them what settings need to be set for the a given post type in order to be picked up by the social warfare plugin to add its contents to it. I am pretty sure once we know that much, we’ll be in business. It’s an issue on their end from my deduction.

Thank you Michael – I will keep on them, and let you know what happens!
