Conflict: Theme and Plugin combination

    After following your Troubleshooting with Health Check tutorial, I think I’ve pinpointed a conflict. (awesome tut btw) It’s a combination of themes and plugins. Heres the short version:

    divi + give + contact form 7 = works beautifully
    divi + give + WP Forms/WP forms lite/ or Ninja forms = 500 error on front end
    twentynineteen + give + WP Forms = works beautifully.

    any help would be great.

    Hi there,

    On the copy of Divi that I have access to (3.0.75–so not the latest) I am not able to replicate a problem. Here’s what I did:

    1. Install and activate Divi
    2. Install and activate Give and WP Forms (free from the official plugin directory)
    3. Add a form on WP Forms (Simple Contact form)
    4. Embed the form in a page. (using their Gutenberg block)
    5. Add a Give donation form
    6. Embed that donation form on the same page as the simple contact form (using our gutenberg block)
    7. Check front end and back end.

    No errors!

    Since I don’t have access to the latest version of Divi (and supporting premium products is not allowed here on this forum) I’d recommend reaching out to the Elegant Themes team to get support. Perhaps the problem is replicable on the latest version of Divi.

    If it turns out that there is a problem that we can replicate on our end, I am more than happy to look into a fix. Thanks!

    Thanks for your quick reply. I followed your advice and got in touch with divi. They told me to check my error logs and I found the issue right away. Our server ran out of allocated memory when I installed WP Forms. I increased the memory and it fixed the problem.
