Conflict with Activity Plus

    Hello,

    First of all, the best media solution you got here!

    I want to use your plugin as media integration, but the only thing “activity plus” got advantage with is link fetching. I want to add only the link button from activity plus and use rtMedia for everything else.

    But when I insert link with (or picture or video) with activity plus, is gets posted with empty content. Maybe I should have gone to WPMU support but I’m sure there is a problem from rtMedia side as when I deactivate your plugin, everything works perfect.

    I have seen old posts where you have already resolved some issue and never found problem like I have now. No error, WP_DEBUG=true, no notice or javascript error.

    Anything you could help me with?

    Hi,

    We’ll be adding link inputs after we’ve refactored BuddyPress Media to rtMedia. Till then, both of them can’t coexist on the activity updates. BuddyPress Media and BP Activity plus have very different ways of dealing with activity updates.

    That’s why we have added an option to disable activity uploading, for such conflicts.
