Conflict with BuddyBoss member search

    Hi,

    We’ve found a conflict with BuddyBoss with the BP Profile Search plugin. We also have the BP Distance Search plugin working as well too.

    When the plugin is activated, the additional search fields on the members directory are removed, and when the plugin is deactivated they reappear again.

    Any ideas please?

    Hi Ben,

    The BuddyBoss Profile Search is actually a copy of BP Profile Search, with reduced functionality.

    When BuddyBoss detects the standard BP Profile Search plugin, it doesn’t load its internal copy, probably because the file names are the same, and this explains what you see on your site.

    I’m not sure if the BuddyBoss team can remove this mutual exclusion, but you could check with them if you’re interested.
