I can’t access the BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Account Settings page when I have “FreeSoul Deactivate Plugins” Active. For some reason, when your plugin is active, it creates some kind of redirect error and I can’t access the account settings.

    Hi @scratchmaster

have you maybe disabled BuddyPress/BuddyBoss on the Account Settings page?
Check the settings of FDP and be sure they are enabled on the Account Settings page. If they are disabled that page doesn’t exist, and you have a redirection to the 404 error page.

    Hi Jose,

Thanks for your help! But I’m pretty certain it’s a bug. I have not yet deactivated any plugins in Freesoul Deactivate Plugins, so nothing is deactivated yet.

The problem occurs when the plugin is simply installed.

BuddyBoss and BuddyPress don’t really have accessible pages for the Account Settings. So I wouldn’t have the option to disable it for this page anyway, because it’s not a traditional page. It is a special page for BuddyPress/BuddyBoss sites.

Please let me know what you think! Hopefully we can solve. I can definitely see the benefit to using Freesoul Deactivate Plugins. ??

    Kind regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    thank you for the information.

Can you try to update to v. 1.9.2.4? I have also seen some strange conflicts with the plugin Buddyboss Platform. The new version fixes the issue for me.
But if you still have issues with your installation we will investigate deeper.

    Have a great day!

    Hi Jose,

I can confirm that the new update fixes it! Many thanks! ??

I would love to use Freesoul Premium in the future once my site is live with many users. In the meantime, how can I deactivate certain plugins from the core areas of BuddyBoss via URL? For example, I would like to deactivate certain pages on the /groups, and /members, etc.

Do I just go to: Custom URL > Frontend URL > and enter “https://mysite.com/members/”? Will this target every member profile below it, too? I.e. “https://mysite.com/members/user1

Thanks for your help! And I’m looking forward to using the Pro version once I go live! Especially for the feature which allows deactivation by user role. ????

    Kind regards,
    Peter

    Hi @scratchmaster

You are welcome! Happy to know it works now.

Yes, you can use Custom URLs => Frontend URLs. Use the star symbol to replace a word that you don’t know.

    For example, https://mysite.com/members/* will match https://mysite.com/members/user-1, https://mysite.com/members/user-2, https://mysite.com/members/whathever-user…

Thank you very much for your interest in the PRO version ??

    Have a great day!

    Jose
