I am seeing a plugin conflict between RSVPMaker v4.7.2 and Connections v8.6.9. The symptom is that the backend in Connections stops displaying the pages. The front end continues to work OK.

When I deactivated RSVPMaker v4.7.2, the Connections backend started working again. When I dropped back to RSVPMaker v4.7.1, Connections continues to work OK.

How can we resolve this conflict?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Connections is not generating an error message, just blank pages, so I don’t know how to track this down. Ask the Connections folks if they have any ideas.

If there was an easy answer, I’d be happy to share it, but otherwise debugging the issue goes beyond the limits of free support

I located the issue. It is a bug in RSVPMaker version 4.7.2. The $_GET['page'] global variable is accidentally being overwritten. I can work around this in Connections but it would be best that this be corrected in RSVPMaker.

I’ve already reported this on GitHub, but also wanted to reply to this thread for completeness.

    Hope this helps!

A collaborator on Github found the bug causing this problem and other unrelated issues I was mystified by. Please update to rsvpmaker 4.7.3
