    Hi,

We seem to be having an conflict with the cookiebot plugin and the stripe payments plugin. When cookiebot is enabled, the credit card fields do not display and customers are unable to check out on the site. Once cookiebot is turned off, the checkout payment fields appear correctly.

I currently have cookiebot deactivated but would like to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. I see someone else was having a similar problem to this recently but their resolution was not posted. Am hoping you can help me find a solution.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @tonimerc ,
    Thank you for reaching out.

A common misconception is that Cookiebot prevents tracking without consent from taking place by intercepting them. However, that is technically not possible. Cookiebot (and similar solutions) prevent trackers from being utilized by disabling the resource that sets them.
The issue is that?Stripe?is setting cookies marked in our?cookie repository?as?preferences. You will need to re-categorize all Stripe cookies as?Necessary?for the payment script to load unchallenged. That is done in the?Cookiebot Manager, under?Cookies.
It is important to start a new scan, after doing changes in that section.

If the payment container still doesn’t work after the scan, please open a support case for further troubleshooting. This will provide a better platform to address the issue.

Hi – Many thanks for the message. I’ve done all of the suggested above but it still hasn’t fixed the issue. I’ll open a support case to see if we can get it resolved.
