• I am having a plugin conflict. My theme is running with cornerstone, (a mandatory plugin for the theme). The plugin causes issues with the Events Manager back end. There are two issues I need help with.

    1) An issue with the filters
    2) An issue within search field

    Here are the details:
    1) An issue with the filters
The events won’t always display. When I go to my events list the default is ‘Future Events’. When I filter for ‘Past Events’ nothing shows up. If I filter ‘All Events’ I do get them all. The following filters also do not work ‘Today’s events’, ‘Events Next Month’, ‘Events Current and Next Month, ‘Events within 2 months’, ‘Events within 6 months’

    2) An issue within search field
When I search for events I get hundreds of posts in the results for a single event when Cornerstone is active (or none at all). But, when I disable Cornerstone I get one post per event.

Will you be able to address these in a coming release? With nearly 600 events it is difficult to work without the filter and search options.

    Cheers

  • Hello,

Have you checked that it might be with other plugins that is causing the issue? If Cornerstone is disabled. Does the filters work properly? If it’s from Cornerstone, You might need to contact them also to check as they might be overriding some filters from EM.

They could contact Us here also in to collaborate on the Fix.

    Thanks Timrv,

It took me a bit to get all the details together. I am going to ask Themeco to contact you here.

    I appreciate your help.

    Cheers

    Hi Tim,

I got a reply from Themeco.

Please consider that this is a conflict with a third party plugin and outside of our support scope. I looked into the link that you shared, and the developer did not give any clue about the problem. We certainly do not override any filter from that plugin as the developer said.

If the developer finds the conflict cause, we will be more than happy to collaborate with the developer. The developer can contact us via info [at] theme [dot] co

The good news is, I noticed that you can download cornerstone from the wordpress plugin marketplace. So, I think you will probably be able to replicate the issue on any site you maintain.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

    Cheers
