    Recently I have noticed a conflict between Autoptimize and Elementor, I have to disable this plugin to be able to use Elementor to edit my pages. The error I get is “the preview could not be loaded” and only occurs when I have Autoptimize active but disapears when I deactivate

    Haha me too, Have a good evening and thanks for all your help

    Elementor showing this error The preview could not be loaded
    tried all option suggested by elementor
    kindly help us to resolve the same.

    If you receive the error message “the preview could not be loaded”, try the following:

    Verify if the pages are not 404

    Try to deactivate all your plugins besides Elementor and Elementor Pro. If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit)

    Check your permission on pages built with Elementor and Membership plugins.

    Check the structure of your permalinks and save one more time these permalinks.

    Contact the support of your theme to make sure that the WordPress Default Loop is used in your layout

    Verify with your host provider if your WordPress install includes the .htaccess file

    Check with your hosting company if your server erases the PHP $_GET variable.
    Nothing working out

    Are you using Autoptimize @tvs1234?

    @optimizingmatters
    Thank you for mentioning Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader!
    Turning that off fixed this problem for me – would never have thought of it!

    you’re welcome @nicholas012, feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! ??

    Hi there!

    First of all, thank you very much for your amazing plugin! It’s a must! ??

    My issue is hard to explain. There’s a conflict between Autoptimize and Elementor, but it seems to be a bit chaotic in its behavior, because it comes and goes.

    I realized that when Autoptimize is activated, it breaks the styling of some parts in pages created with Elementor. Before going any further:
    – I’m using the last versions of WordPress, Autoptimize and Elementor.
    – I checked one by one all the plugins with Elementor. I’m positive the conflict is between this two plugins.
    – I use Cloudflare but with Rocket Loader off.
    – “Also optimize for logged in users?” is disabled.

    When I detected the conflict, I decided to deactivate Autoptimize, since I was building some pages with Elementor. After I finished that task, I turned Autoptimize on again, and those pages stayed fine, nothing was broken or lost the styling.
    Some days later, I edited one of those pages, adding a new section, and when published, it lost the styling.

    After that happened, I decided to do some tests:

    If the only selected box in the plugin advanced menu is:

    – Optimize CSS Code? –> breaks everything
    – Optimize JavaScript Code? –> prevents my fullwidth sections from being fullwidth.
    – Optimize HTML Code? –> no problems

    I’m going to keep Autoptimize deactivated for a while because I still have to use Elementor to finish some tasks. When they’re done, I’ll try activating it again.

    This and this are two good examples of pages where the issue is present.

    Hope you can help me! And thank you very much in advance!!! ??

    afternoon @thebea58;
    some feedback;
    * it’s almost always better to start a new thread instead of adding to an existing one, even if it is somehow somewhat related
    * you will probably have to exclude some of the CSS and JS, cfr. AO’s FAQ on troubleshooting and exclusions
    * you’re also using WP Fastest Cache for CSS/ JS optimization, this can cause issues. when using AO I would strongly advice to disable minification in WPFC
    * I’ll be happy to take a look when you ended your editing an AO is active again.

    kind regards,
    frank

    Hi Frank!

    First of all, thank you so much for your quick reply ??

    I thought of starting a new thread, but ended up doing it here. Sorry and now I know for the next time.

    Thank you so much as well for your recommendations, which for sure I’m going to apply.
    I’ll let you know how it all went as soon as I can.

    Have a good day!
