    Hi,

Thank you for the extension which is very useful to me!

When using it, however, I realize that there is a conflict with Elementor.

Indeed, as soon as I delete the slug from a CPT, the Elementor editor no longer loads (https://elementor.com/help/elementor-not-loading/).

I confirm that the conflict comes from the plugin (Remove CPT base) because as soon as I uncheck the deletion of the slug, Elementor works again (without needing to deactivate the WordPress plugin, just uncheck all the boxes in the settings of plugin).

    What can I do ?

NB: I tried the alternation mode.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

I just tested it and everything works for me.

I’ve created CPT with CPT UI plugin and made it editable with Elementor, then I removed CPT base with my plugin and post is loading without any problems on frontend (https://elementor.kubiq.sk/scary-movie-1/) and backend (https://img.kubiq.sk/2021-08-14_12-40-37.png).

It has probably nothing to do with Elementor, but the way how your post type is created?
Hard to say, you need to be more specific.

    Hi @kubiq

I had today the same problem. The first few months your plugin was working fine without any error message. Today, when i want to open the theme builder of Elementor to change something in the design, i get the message that the PHP function “the_content” is missing and because of this the Elementor theme builder can’t load.

At the moment, i deactivated your plugin and is working again. But should be nice if you can check this out and resolve it. I have activated your plugin on more than 60 websites and so long that the clients wish any changes in the design i don’t have any troubles but if they wish some changes i have to deactivated your plugin on each website…

    Hello @silva8899 and @killiansantos

I’m still not able to replicate this issue and I’m also using this plugin on a few Elementor websites

Can you maybe setup some WPSandbox or some testing environment where I can see this error and where I can play with it?

Or give me a step-by-step tutorial how to replicate this, or record some video from the very first install of WP and plugins and all the settings you use, etc…
Because I cannot solve something that I cannot see :/

    same problem for me too.
Created CPT with CPT UI plugin, then removed the slug from new CPT, all works nice, but when I try to edit the Elementor template, it doesn’t works.

PLease note, I can open Elementor when I edit page, I can’t open Elementor with Single page template.

@semperme you mean Elementor PRO? Unfortunately I have access only to the free version, so as I wrote above – it would be great if someone could prepare some sandbox or some testing environment
