• I created a header template with Elementor, but when I tried to open it with Elementor yesterday to make edits, I got this error: “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.” I have had to disable the Ocean Extra plugin to be able to open the header template to make revisions.

Hello, have you tried to regenerate your permalinks? What is your PHP version?

Regenerating permalinks did not solve the problem. My hosting provider is InMotion. I just checked and my server is running PHP version 5.6.30.

I just upgraded to PHP 7. Problem still occurs.

Hi, okay, can you open a pre-purchase ticket on oceanwp.org and add a link to this topic, the support will ask you more information.
