We are having a conflict the Elementor Pro plugin. I have changed themes and deactivated plugins one at a time to determine that the conflict is indeed between your plugin and Elementor Pro.

Any insights on how to proceed from here? Thank you so much!

  • Hey @annagallow

    Thank you for reaching out.
The good news is that this is not really a conflict ??

It’s a matter of using the correct page template when you head over to Events > Settings > Display

Additionally, you might be interested in knowing that we offer some Elementor integration when you get our Pro premium add-on.

Thanks, @geoffbel! I will continue to work on that. I was also having trouble finding any Gutenberg blocks to feed in an “upcoming Events” feed. Is there something obvious that I am missing? I tried to use shortcodes like “[tribe_events view=”list”]” but those didn’t work.

Any workarounds that you know of?

    Thanks for the help ??

    Hey @annagallow

    Thank you for writing back.
You are indeed using the correct shortcode.

However, this shortcode is only available for our The Events Calendar Pro premium add-on customers.

Furthermore, the pro add-on also gives you access to native Elementor widgets ??

    Hi @geoffbel,

So, there is no way to show upcoming events through the backend WordPress editor using shortcodes if we are using Elementor? We don’t need to customize the templates, we just want to use the widget/feed that we have previously used for free on our older themed website.

    @annagallow

I am sorry for the confusion.

To clarify, yes there is a way to display the events using a shortcode, but not with the free version of our plugin. You will need to use our Pro premium add-on (which also adds a ton of other features) to unlock that functionality.

We do have an Events List widget included in the free version of our plugin, but it’s not triggered via a shortcode if you are using the free version of our plugin.

You will need to call it using a widget area or, to your point, with a customized template.

    Hopefully, that helps ??
