I’d like to stop using feedburner to manage itunes rss tags for a podcast I manage from WordPress. The podcast consists of wordpress posts in a specific category. That category is, you guessed it, Podcast and the slug is also podcast.

This plugin clobbers my existing podcast posts, as it expects to use the same slug.

I discovered that this plug doesn’t let me modify the slug for the podcast feed, nor does it enable me to associate episodes of the podcast with WordPress posts of a specified category, so I uninstalled the plugin.

Since uninstalling the plugin, I am unable to reach my existing posts for the WP category Podcast. Navigating to the url of a post (e.g. mysite.com/podcast/post-slug/) takes me to the root of the site. Changing the post category slug to “podcast-test” works (e.g. mysite.com/podcast-test/post-slug), but on changing the category slug back to “podcast” my posts are no longer accessible.
