We have woocommerce with the plugin extra product options from Themecomplete. If an item is sold out in woocommerce and the product data in inventory is set to zero, then the data from extra product options for this item is hidden on the product page in the frontend. I would like the data to always remain visible, even if the item is set to 0. EPO support says that the problem is not with them. Where can I set this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @waterval,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand you’re experiencing an issue where the Extra Product Options data is hidden when a product’s inventory is set to zero.

This specific behavior seems not to be from the WooCommerce core plugin, however, as a workaround, I would recommend the following: Instead of setting the inventory to zero when a product is sold out, you can enable the ‘Allow Backorders’ option and set it to ‘Allow, but notify customer’. This way, your product will still be visible and purchasable, but your customers will be notified that the product is out of stock.

To do this, go to your WooCommerce settings > Products > Inventory > Backorders and select ‘Allow, but notify customer’.

    I hope this helps.
