Conflict with google-calendar-events

After the latest update to V 2.0.1 of

https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-calendar-events/

I can select any sidebar, that I have created, but only the default sidebar is displayed on those pages where I have embedded a calendar.

I cannot find a solution, so I post this in both plugin support threads.
