• Custom Contact Forms Version 4.6.0.0 Conflict with Google Maps for WordPress Version 1.0.3

Other problems with this plugin include:

    – The lack of options regarding to where and when to include all the CSS and JS files on the header, a nice feature for this plugin can be one in which blog owners can decide where to place these links. Also it can reduce the loading time of the site by removing unused files.

    – The updates break the CSS files – every time that I update the plugin i need to restore my own CSS files. There is no need to update those files everytime that an update is available.

    – Hidden link on form – If set to “NO” to display author link, the plugin will ad a “display: none” on the css of the link, but that not necesarily means that the link will not be displayed, the link still there, only not visible to users, but yes to search engines – Is not something nice to have hidden links on any website.

The plugin is exelent if compared to other plugins on the same category, but it requires a bit of time for new user to understend how to make it work.

    — Version 4.6 has a solution to this. Check out the form pages option within each form in the form manager. Enter the page id’s you want to use your forms on in there and then enable “Restrict Frontend JS and CSS to Form Pages Only” in General Settings.

"The updates break the CSS files - every time that I update the plugin i need to restore my own CSS files. There is no need to update those files everytime that an update is available."

    — Obviously if you edit the plugin files, when you update, your updates will be overwritten.

    — This is not true. If set to no, no link is included at all.

@gymsireland if you don’t want the hidden link just delete that segment of code you displayed

@tlovett I like really like your plugin but gymsireland is correct the link is there and you could be inadvertently hurting peoples rankings. Best to be more forthcoming with these kind of things.

@david – The section of the code had been replaced by me a while ago, the point is that he says the same all the time

This is not true. If set to no, no link is included at all

In my opinion that practice (hidden links on others websites) only hurt both sides – Where the link is placed and to where the link is pointing.

@tlovett1 – Can you provide a solution to the conflict with Google Maps for WordPress Version 1.0.3 ?

    Sorry for my english
