    Hi @demaier,

    Unfortunately, this is a valid conflict that we have reported for our developers in the past but it wasn’t solved yet. I will be happy to bump the priority of the issue ticket and hopefully this issue will get solved in one of the next updates.

    Thank you that would help tremendously as it is interfering with productivity and affecting other plugins.
    We would hate to have to leave NextGEN Gallery for another alternative.

    Hello @demaier,

    As Mihai mentioned, we have already escalated this back to the developers.
    We are a small team, and we have experienced extra work with the WordPress 5.5 release.
    Please keep in mind that our developers need to address these issues in order of priority, so an issue that many hundreds of users are experiencing will need to be addressed before an issue reported that is affecting only a few users or just one.
