    Hello.

I’ve started trying out the new block editor in WordPress 5.0 (have 5.0.2 installed) and it’s come to my attention that the WCK plugin conflicts with the block editor. I have already used Health Check to pinpoint that it is indeed this plugin that is causing the conflict.

Basically what happens is that the plugin causes a WYSIWYG toolbar to show up on paragraph blocks. Please check this screenshot to see what I mean. Unfortunately formatting text using this bar will not be reflected on the published page.

I hope you guys can resolve this issue so that the WYSIWYG toolbar does not appear on the block editor, or give an option to disable the WYSIWYG editor. Thank you.

Yes thanks for letting us know & glad to help! Cheers ??

Has anyone else experienced writing a post only to have the right hand side disappear? Split down the middle, although the right sidebar still functions. Almost like there’s a second missing column? I can’t find anywhere else to ask a question. And when I am able to publish a post, the layout bears little resemblance to my original draft. I know nothing about coding so perhaps I’m in the wrong area. Please excuse me. But I do know what I’m currently experiencing is turning me off my website. Someone please help!

    Hello Adrian,

Sorry, I have not experienced this so far.

Perhaps try to find help on this forum:

Thank you, Gabriel. It is unbelievably frustrating for a writer!

Sorry to hear. I hope they can help you over there.
