Conflict with jQuery UI

    Hey

    I absolutely love this plugin (let’s get it to 1M+ installs).

    One issue I’m coming up against is a conflict with jQuery UI, when you click inside a field the label doesn’t jump up like it should, instead it just stays where it is.

    I’m only using the jQuery UI date picker – I know there’s a native date picker in nearly all browser but I’m trying to recreate what’s on moved.com

    I don’t want to send you on a wild goose chase tho – I’ll most likely have to come at this from another angle.

    Thanks for the kind words! 1M+ installs would be great but it’s a loooong way away ??

    My plugin is typically not compatible with 3rd-party JS plugins unless I put spend time specifically making it work. That’s because the plugin does a lot of html manipulation with JavaScript.

    However, it should work fine if you simply don’t put a material design shortcode around your date field. Then you can just apply a few styles to get the input to look more like the rest of your code.
