• I’ve investigated this issue with Malcare Staff. The theme updates don’t “work” from the Malcare Dashboard.

They wrote “This plugin maintains the site transients data in Redis. Our system fetches the plugins and themes available updates data from transinets of the site. When our system fetches the theme transient data, the site sometime returns the data and sometime not. I tried it manually also on the site and found the same scenario. And this happens, when we do multiple requests to fetch the transients in parallel. For ex. when we fetch plugins transient, themes transient, core transients in parallel.”

    Hi @frank6tg,

Although WP Redis handles WordPress’ object cache, this particular problem seems like it needs to be fixed with Malcare. Let me know if there’s any information I can provide that would help them debug the issue. Alternatively, you’re welcome to invite them to this www.ads-software.com thread to weigh in.

I would say perhaps it is the theme.

I have 60+ other sites that are fine with WP Redis & Malcare including some other sites that use Themeforest Themes. (I don’t use Themeforest but I manage several websites that use Themeforest Themes)

This particular Theme “The Fox” is the only one exhibiting this behavior. Malcare has already spent weeks debugging this issue.

Ah, that could be the culprit.
