• Hello,

I have installed the plugin Modal Survey and i found out it has aq conflict the iThemes security plugin. When i want to generate and download a pdf with charts from a Modal Survey participant I got a pdf without the chart images. When i deactivate iThemes Security than i can download a pdf with images of the charts. An error in the log file says:

AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: imagecreatefrompng(https://pjstrategy.com/wp-content/plugins/modal_survey/exports/tempp0.png): Failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden\r\n in /home/pjstrategy.com/public_html/ontwikkel.pjstrategy.com/wp-content/plugins/modal_survey/lib/tcpdf_min/tcpdf.php on line 7066PHP message: PHP Warning: imagecreatefrompng(https://pjstrategy.com/wp-content/plugins/modal_survey/exports/tempp1.png): Failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden\r\n in /home/pjstrategy.com/public_html/ontwikkel.pjstrategy.com/wp-content/plugins/modal_survey/lib/tcpdf_min/tcpdf.php on line 7066', referer: https://pjstrategy.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=modal_survey_participants&msuid=6-1206410790

There is not literaly a plugin error. I tested i higher php version. And i added more memory limit. Also the writing rules of folders are correct.

The plugin author from Modal Survey says: The interactive charts are using JavaScript / jQuery and needs to be saved temporary as an image to use it in the PDF. The save process working well on your site, but it doesn’t allows to open the saved image to use it in the PDF generation. Probably, it is some kind of over protection.

Can somebody help me or do must i ues a different security plugin in the future?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi graphicfish,

You may be interested in reading this topic.

If it doesn’t work there is another setting we can try to disable.

+++++ To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes +++++

    Hello nlpto,

Thank you for your respons. I tryed to disable the Disable PHP in Plugins checkbox. It did not work, unfortunately. I tryed all System Tweaks disabled and enabled, nothing worked.

I installed a different plugin instead of ithemes, WordFence. And now its working with pdf downloading included with images.
