    Thank you for your report.

    I’ve tried it with NextGEN Plugin 2.1.0 and WordPress 4.2.2 and the upload is possible for me on the NextGEN page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery.

    Did you get an error? And which Versions do you have?

    Kind Regards

    Ok it was possible for me to reproduce the problem, it’s because NextGEN Gallery doesn’t use a /wp-admin/ link for the upload.

    Here is a quick workaround, please try it:

    -> Screenshot with a working config

    In a few words:
    -> Show Options for Behavior on Dashboard
    -> Behavior on Dashboard -> disable “Always on”
    -> Active on: wp-admin, photocrati_ajax, your_other_rules

    Or (as a second workaround) use only the “Inactive on” option for NextGEN Gallery with your rules.

    Hope it will help you!

    Here is the shortest workaround:

    Adding of photocrati_ajax to the “Active on” rules.

    -> Screenshot with a working config

    Thanks for working through this and providing a solution. I will test it later today and give you feedback.

    This solution works great. Thank you very much for your help in resolving this. =D

    One note for others who might see this, you will need to add a rule for /gallery/ (or whatever other name your nextgen content is on) in order for those public facing pages to work properly.
