With activated Advanced Views Lite, once I try to add new NextGen gallery the following error pops out: “SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<p>There h”… is not valid JSON.”

    Hi @glesskis

We’ve had a look and identified that the issue is caused by a mistake in the NextGEN Gallery’s code.

in src/DataMapper/WPPostDrive.php line 551 they pass an object with the ‘Imagely\NGG\DataTypes\DisplayType’ type instead of the array type, declared by function https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/wp_insert_post/

So please raise a ticket in the NextGen Gallery support forum.

In the next release of Advanced Views, we’ll add a change (separate check) to avoid the fatal error if the passed data is wrong, but it’ll be a compatibility workaround. This issue should still be fixed on their side.

We’ll go ahead and mark this issue as resolved, but feel free to reply if there’s news.

Thank you for quick answer. I also gave the info to NextGen support service, they acknowledged the problem but no solution was found so far.
