    Hi,

I’ve created a custom post type called “blog” and when adding new blog posts to “blog”, every new blog post has the same content. Like all the posts from the same category are interconnected and replicate the same content to all of the posts.

Do you know how to cancel the “link” between the pages of the same category?

I am using a pagelines framework if that helps. Wrote them a ticket as well, but no response so far.

    Hi Rihards,

That is definitely very odd behavior, and one I don’t have an answer for. Is it this plugin you’re using for your site? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pl-platform/ Or something else?

We don’t attempt any sort of control over content with CPTUI, we merely handle the registration based on user-provided parameters. So, the type of duplication you’re seeing is very odd to me. Just for testing sake, can you create a different custom post type and see if it happens with that one as well? It’d help determine if it’s an isolated issue or something bigger.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the replay, but we just figured it out.
It was just that in the PageLines editor under “Scope” I had to select that specific page. By default it was selected to “All” therefore it effected all Posts in the same category.

Gotcha, good to hear you got things figured out.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
