Conflict with Parabola Theme

  • Hi, I just updated my wordpress and the plugin and noticed that my theme is now having jquery issues.

    If I disable the plugin it goes back to normal. If the plugin is active I cant edit my theme settings, it wont load the jquery.

    The error is:

    “Checking jQuery functionality…
    If this message remains visible after the page has loaded then there is a problem with your WordPress jQuery library. This can have several causes, including incompatible plugins. The Parabola Settings page cannot function without jQuery.”

    What can I do?

  • One thing you can try is turning off the jQuery for the plugin itself (located in the plugin options).

    Other than that, without knowing what the exact jQuery conflict is, there is not much that can be done.
