Conflict with pdf embedding

I’ve been trying out Autoptimize on my WordPress multisite setup and run into a problem. I use the PDF Embedder Premium plugin and it seems to have a conflict. When Autoptimize is enabled, pdf embeds break with an error message such as, “Setting up fake worker failed: “Cannot load script at: https://www.markpack.org.uk/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/2/js/autoptimize_5dc969681d56ec108e1ddd4b5b56a59e.worker.js”

I guess this may be a configuration issue for Autoptimize? Can you please give me any clues as to what to try to resolve it? Thanks.
