conflict with Registration form

  • Hi,
    I am using a custom theme i.e course builder theme and theme has a user registration form and it works fine until I install user-verification plugin for email validation in the theme registration form and then on registration of new user it gives “Invalid username and password” error but in spite of error user gets registered and verification email send.so what could be the possible issue and why this error shows. As soon as I uninstall this plugin registration form works fine again. Please help.

    User Verification Settings > Messages > Registration success message

    I have checked the messages, my registration success message is “Registration sucessfull!!” that you can see here:- https://imgur.com/F4JSRKf
    I think somewhere registration form functions got conflicted with the plugin.

    Hi,
    I found the error text i.e Wrong username or password. under my theme folder inc\custom-functions.php file.

    Can you please try default WordPress user login form and register form and let me know what happening?

    i can’t help you without checking themes file and troubleshooting with it.

    As I gave you my theme custom-functions.php file screenshot which causes the error, can’t you find out the fix from it.

    Do you need theme original zip folder or my complete site zip folder on which I am working?
    instead of the whole theme folder, can I send you the particular folder you would be required as this is my client site so I can’t send you all files, hope you understand and whatever files I will be sending to you also display publically to others?

    Anyways How will I send the folder, there is no attached folder option here.
