Conflict with Search & Filter Plugin

  • Hi there,
    I loved using this plugin but then I found out that it caused my Search & Filter plugin to not work properly. I installed S&F so my website visitors could select posts from a category (outfits) based on season or occasion or both. It’s quite a complicated setup and I invested quite a bit of time in setting it up so it works properly. Then I wanted to set up my affiliate links and have the ability to “shop the post” and also have my resources page set up so people could see the books and other products that have my affiliate links. But, something in this plugin interferes with S&F such that using it causes the filtering to stop working and overrides some other settings. I know this is a free plugin, so I don’t expect specialized troubleshooting, but I thought I should let you know just in case there is something I could check or do, or in case others come across the same combination of plugins and can’t figure out what’s wrong.
    Again, I really appreciate this plugin and it seemed to be perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I really hope I can get it to work somehow.

    Hi Callista,

    I actually use Seach & Filter pro on my site along with Shop Page WP. However, I have never tried using them on the same page. I do know that S&F wont work to search and filter shop page products.
    Can you provide a little more detail about exactly how you have it setup so we can try to reproduce it?

    I tried to use S&F too but it seems that it doesn’t work for my eSTORE. It looks like neither the WordPress organic search can’t see the products inserted in specific categories using this plugin!
