    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you try to add reCaptcha options to your site’s wp-config.php file, as explained here:
    https://jetpack.me/support/sharing/#how-to-add-recaptcha-email

Let me know if it helps.

Hi, thanks for the reply, but unfortunately that doesn’t help.

I don’t think this has anything to do with PHP settings, it’s purely JS related.

We had a similar issue with jetpack and recaptcha here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/contact-formpolldaddy-recaptcha-bug?replies=3

however, given that the bog-standard code provided by google doesn’t work either, I’d be inclined to say that this is something JP should be thinking about accounting for since the conflict occurrs in your js code.

Could you give me more details about the errors you see? I played a bit with the reCaptcha form on your test page, but didn’t notice any Javascript errors.

If you click the refresh button, which creates a new captcha image (on the right of where you write the captcha – middle button), you’ll notice that in the page with sharing enabled it doesn’t refresh and an error is triggered.

I’m afraid I still cannot reproduce the errors. I can refresh the form without seeing any errors:

Could you copy the errors you get and paste them here?

    Thanks!

OK, I realize I’m now sounding crazy, but it was happening before ?? I wasn’t the one who discovered this problem either, it was happening on any site I tested.

However, you are right I am not getting the problem from before. I can’t remember the exact error but I traced it to the jetpack/modules/sharedaddy/sharing.js file.

I’m guessing Google must have updated their JS to fix this….

Thanks for looking into it! I guess this is now resolved.
