Conflict with Simple Twitter Status Updates

  • When both plugins (Social Connect and Simple Twitter Status Updates) are active, trying to authorise with Social Connect on twitter stops at
    /social-connect/twitter/connect.php
    require_once(dirname(__FILE__) . '/EpiCurl.php' );

    Both are excellent plugins, and if there’s a feasible fix, I’d love to use them together.

    This seems to happen because both plugins use the EpiCurl class to connect to twitter.

    At the moment it isn’t possible to use them side-by-side. I’m working on a fix but I do not have enough time to bring up a solution in the next two months.
