    Hi,

I installed and activated Easy Testimonials, which made my front page slider stop working. I Googled around and saw that checking the “Disable Cycle2” on settings fixed others’ problem. I did just that and slider worked. But when I checked the testimonials, not only that they were not working (no transition), but they were all stacked vertically on top of each other. Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks!

    Hey Jhilado!

Unfortunately, checking that box will also disable the slider for the testimonials.

Can you let me know what the setup on your site is, or send me a link? I would like to help troubleshoot further.

In the meantime, I recommend just using a random single testimonial while this issue is resolved.

    Best,
    Richard

Any updates on this fix? It’s affecting my website too and is supremely annoying. ??

    Hey Amy!

    There is no update, currently.

A lot of different themes and plugins use similar javascript libraries, and depending on how they are called they can conflict. The fix depends on your individual setup and usually involves invoking Cycle2 manually, by placing a javascript call in the footer targeting the HTML our plugin outputs.

    I hope that helps.

    Best,
    Richard
