Conflict with The Events Calendar Pro

I manage a few sites that use The Events Calendar Pro, and there seems to be a conflict between that plugin and Breeze.
The issue occurs when trying to save a recurring event (one for which there is more than one occurrence or date). TEC displays a progress bar to show where the site is at with creating the multiple instances.
With Breeze activated the progress bar remains at 0% and the recurring events are not created (no matter if there are 2 or 200 occurrences). Eventually the process times out and returns a 502 error.
When Breeze is deactivated, this issue is not present and the recurring events are created within 2-3 seconds (even if there are dozens of recurrences).
This is occurring on at least 2 sites that use TEC Pro and Breeze. Can you please investigate and/or let me know if there is a tweak I can make to the settings that will allow both plugins to work side-by-side?
