Conflict with theme or plugin?

Quiz results working erratically. Sometimes I get a results page and the email goes out and sometimes not. I tried turning off sidebar to eliminate adds ons widgets. It wasn’t enough. It just sits for several seconds after clicking submit and at most loads a blank page.
I eliminated anti spam and all I can think of is theme. Does anyone know if the free Enigma theme has something it doesn’t like?
Oh wow…I just tried updating the theme and now it’s opening the archives page instead of results.
