As far as I know, this issue only appeared after I updated to Thesis 2.1 OR WP 3.7.1, but all posts now show the same “Next Post” – and it’s one from 2 months ago, not the correct next post at all. Plus, the most recent post shows this particular post as the “next post” – when there shouldn’t be one. Deactivating Post Types Order fixes it, but it means I cannot use the plugin.

I’m assuming this is a Post Types Order/Thesis conflict as changing the theme to Twenty-Ten also fixes the problem. I’m not sure where the problem lies, but will post this to the Thesis forums as well so that Chris Pearson et al are aware of it.

Update: this issue only seems to occur with the Classic skin – not with the newer Classic Responsive Skin, as I tried installing the plugin on one of my other Thesis sites with the newer skin installed and there were no problems. I think the Classic skin is more or less abandoned – I have reported it on the Thesis forums in case anyone else is using this combo of skins and plugins. I will be updating the site in question to the Classic Responsive skin. So as Emily Litella used to say…”never mind…” ??

    Hi Paddy,
Thanks for your reporting, we will check into this but most probably the Classic skin is the problem. As you said the best will be to use the latest skin code.
