• Hi! My client’s site is seeing a conflict between easy-footnotes and Thrive Comments. The link I gave is an article with footnotes at the bottom, and comments below the footnotes, supposedly. We’re getting this error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()

That resource is the xml generated by Thrive Comments. When we deactivate Easy Footnotes, the comments show up without issue.

Can you check this out please? Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

It looks like you don’t have Easy Footnotes active any longer. I’m not able to access Thrive Comments as it’s a premium plugin.

My best guess without access would be a conflict with a missing JS files that was fixed in version 1.1.1 of Easy Footnotes. Since their comments seem to load via ajax it may have been causing a conflict. If you’re able to test with version 1.1.1.

Did you reach out to Thrive for support as well?
