    Hello,
I noticed a conflict with the plugin toc +, when I have the shortcode [toc] in one of the articles, the slide is not displayed. Do you have an idea of where the problem may come from.

    Hi @rdrit

Can you send me a link to this plugin to check the possible conflict? I didn’t really find a convincing match to “toc +” in the WordPress repo and via a Google search.

Do you see an empty space where the slider should be? Is there any JavaScript errors on the page? You can check that like this: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/318-chrome

Or do you not see the slider’s codes at all in the page/post?

Thank you for your quick response, here is the link of the extension: https://en.www.ads-software.com/plugins/table-of-contents-plus/
I was able to solve the problem by installing a fork of the plugin and the slide works.
    Two problems of solving …

    Hi @rdrit

This “Table of Contents Plus” plugin hasn’t been updated in the past 3 years and hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. (See the yellow notice and the right side of the plugin’s page.)

The problem with such badly maintained plugins is that they more likely to have and cause problems. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that the plugin developer would fix these problems due to the long time that passed since they were last active with their plugin. (The author hasn’t had any replies in the forums in the past 2 years: https://www.ads-software.com/support/users/conjur3r/replies/ )

If its fork works fine for you, and it’s maintained better, I suggest keep using that instead.

Anyway, I’m glad it worked out!
