Hi, there is a major conflict occurring between Forminator and Ultimate Member. I spoke to the devs at Ultimate Member and they said it has something to do with redirections from Forminator.

The issue is specifically with the ‘Groups’ extension. With Forminator active, and while trying to create a new group, it causes an error that actually not only deletes the entire page, but it disappears completely from the WordPress page list, then it gives a 500 error.

I confirmed 100% that the conflict is indeed from Forminator. I use Ultimate Member as my membership plugin, and I would like to continue using Forminator, but I can’t if this conflict persists.

The dev’s quote was: “They should be able to provide something to exclude any page from their custom redirection”.

Assistance with this would be much appreciated.

    Hello @sleet1337

    I trust you’re doing well!

I’m afraid the Groups extension is a premium extension and we do not have access to it. Per www.ads-software.com regulations we can provide support only for free plugins.

However, please email us directly to [email protected]. Please include into a subject ATTN:Nastia and a link back to this thread in the main body so we could check if this can be resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi @sleet1337,

Extremly sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks for sharing us the plugin as requested via email.

However, I’m afraid we aren’t able to replicate issues in general with the mentioned “Groups” extensions plugin.

Could we know if you could provide any steps to replicate the issue? Just create a new group by keeping Forminator plugin active and it would give 500 error? I checked the frontend and backend but wasn’t able to notice any such error.

Could we know whether the Ultimate Members plugin support was able to share what exact 500 error they were able to notice during the reported issue? So that we could have a better idea.

Please do note that since it’s a 3rd party extension what we know regarding its workflow is limited, so please do advise if we are missing out any steps to replicate the issue.

I could also notice the plugin do ask for a license, is that required for the “Groups” extension plugin to work?

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
