I tried installing and activating and got this message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare members_get_capabilities() (previously declared in /home/xxxx.cloudwaysapps.com/mbbtmuxyxj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/user-role-editor/includes/misc-support-stuff.php:30) in /home/xxxx.cloudwaysapps.com/mbbtmuxyxj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/members/inc/functions-capabilities.php on line 299

Looks like a conflict with this plugin: https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-role-editor/

Is it possible to use both plugins safely? If I disable the existing plugin, would I lose some of the custom role modifications I have made?

    Hi @mayurj

It seems that the User Role Editor plugin uses a function with the same name as the function in our plugin called members_get_capabilities. I’m afraid that the only way to have them both work would be to edit the function call in one of the plugins. Sorry about that.

All Members and role settings are stored in the database, so you won’t lose them if you disable Members plugin.

    Kind regards
