When Shield is enabled, my Visitor Statistics Pro plugin refuses to show traffic history (which is needed because it aggregates by visited URLs where as there is nothing in Shield that appears to do this).

The plugin itself (Visitor Statistics Pro) does load, but the history area is entirely empty.

It appears to be getting blocked by the Hack Guard Module, somewhere in the Scanning/Malware section. If I turn that off, I can get the Visitor Statistics app providing history again, but I’d really rather not have to keep turning it off just to get my stats every time, particularly as I am paying for both of these programs.

Is there some way we can ‘whitelist’ an entire plugin from triggering Shield into action? Or something I can do about this particular interaction?

Is the problem that the history area doesn’t display the data, or that the data itself isn’t actually being created? i.e. when you disable the HG module, does data appear from while during the HG module was activate?

My guess is that it’s a display issue. Do you know how to review console errors in the browser? A quick google will show you (press F12 and look at the console tab – are there errors displayed there while trying to view the page?)

Have you talked with the developer of Visitor Statistics Pro? We don’t have access to their plugin, but they’d have access to ours to see what the conflict might be.

I believe as well the problem is a display issue.

Console reports nothing (completely empty) it’s the first thing I checked, but good idea to contact them first, I had thought about contacting Shield as it was the plugin that created the problem, let me try VSP and see what they know.

Let us know what they find sure and if we need to make any adjustments, we’re happy to look at that.

Today I went to the Visitor’s Statics plugin and everything looks fine. So apparently this is resolved, even if I am not sure why.

I can’t explain it seeing as I’ve fought with it for the last 4 days straight, and I don’t think I’ve actually changed anything. But it appears to be working for now.

I’ll re-visit this if needed at a later date.

    Cheers

Ah okay, great. There might have been a conflict with another plugin also, and there’s been an update on your site, maybe? Hard to know. If it crops up again, please let us know and the devs of the other plugin, too. Cheers!
