It seems that Modula galleries do not show when the W3 Total Cache plugin is used. What .js or .css files does it use? I’d like to try excluding them from minification.

  • Hello, can you send us a link to your website ?

Also if you have the latest version of Modula the JS files are :
    – jquery-modula.min.js
    – lightbox.min.js ( if you use lightbox )
    CSS files :
    – effects.css
    – modula.css

This was the page I was using the gallery on… https://www.cactus-collective.com/decor-add-ons/

But I have reverted back to a different one that does work until I can figure this out.

The reason I don’t want to use the current one is because it doesn’t pull alt text through.

Thanks for the list. I’m going to test this out today and see if excluding them from the plugin will resolve the issue.

Tested. Excluding the scripts from minifying doesn’t work. But did learn that it’s a browser related issue. The gallery works even with the plugin in Firefox. Not Chrome. Any ideas why the Modula wouldn’t show in Chrome but does with Firefox?

    Hello @barbsm2,

From what I can tell this happens because jQuery loads too late. And because of that you have several errors on the website, not just from Modula.
Can you please go to the W3 Total cache’s settings and see if you have any jQuery settings? And trying to adjust them to stop the jQuery loading so late?

Let me know how it goes.

    All the best,
    Mihaela
