Since your latest plugin upgrade, all subscription renewal orders are automatically being changed to completed instead of processing. The products are physical and we’ve plugin conflict tested the whole site to confirm that the issue really is with your plugin.

When we roll back the plugin version to 1.9.7 the issue is gone. WooCommerce’s Happiness Engineer have confirmed that this issue only occurs on your free version, not on the paid Pro version.

  • I can confirm, this was a big annoying issue for us as well. Had to roll back to 1.9.7?to stop subscription renewals from being marked as completed.

I’ve already emailed the team via their website as well and asked WooCommerce to chase them up too but to no avail.

    Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out to us about Sequential Order Numbers. I’m happy to help! I’m sorry for the delay in responding to you all.

I understand that this issue started around the time that you updated Sequential Order Numbers. I have been testing this issue locally, and I was able to replicate the problem while only WooCommerce and Subscriptions were active.

Can you let me know what version of WooCommerce Subscriptions is active on the sites? Could you also confirm that this issue does or doesn’t occur with Sequential Order Numbers is temporarily deactivated?

    Thank you,
    Jessica | SkyVerge

    Hi @jessicaskyverge

Jesse and I are already liaising via a support ping as well (that’s not you, is it?)

WC Subscriptions version is 5.4.0 but we’ve already tried downgrading and the issue persists. It is 100% related to your plugin because every time we switch it off, or downgrade to 1.9.7, the issue disappears. We’ve tested this extensively on staging sites and the WooCommerce devs have tested it too. They just can’t provide assistance because according to them it only affects the free plugin version and not the pro version.

    Kind regards,
    Rob

    Hey @roberthemsing ,

We are different people with similar names. I know it can be confusing! I replied to you there as well after taking over the convo. ??

I was finally able to replicate the bug, so I’ve added this to our issue tracker for the developers to get this patched up. While I don’t have an estimated time for resolution right now, please know that our team is now aware of the issue and will work to incorporate a fix into the plugin as soon as they can.

In the meantime, though it’s not ideal, I’d recommend keeping the previous version of Sequential Order Numbers active. If you haven’t already done so, you can install the previous version of the plugin using by installing the WP Rollback plugin found here:?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

Again, thanks so much for the report! Is there anything else I can help out with?

    Thank you,
