Having an issue with any plugin that creates widgets for use in sidebars. Both Smart WYSIWYG Blocks of Content and Content Holder cause the same problem — on the events page, and only the events page if either of those plugins are active all of the widgets get filled with whatever is being generated by the Events Manager. If I switch from list to calendar, I get calendars everywhere. If I’m on list, I get the list repeated everywhere. It seems to me that the events output is not differentiating between the main content area and widgets that output content. There needs to be a filter of some sort.

Is there a shortcode to output the list? I can create a hidden page to assign the main events layout to if needed.

It is *not* theme related, it happens with 2015 theme too.

This is on my first version with Content Holder vs WYSIWYG Smart Blocks of Content.

I have tried deactivating all other plugins. I have already tried a default theme as well.

Both of those plugins have nearly identical functionality. And both have the same result.

Happens when any of the templates from Events Manager are in use. (lists and single)

Have you tried using the [events_list] shortcode to output the list instead of the CONTENTS placeholder?

Yes. Same problem. It’s obviously the template; probably to do with your wonderful feature of letting people add their own stuff to the content area above and below the output. I assume you’re hooking into the_content() — and not just the_content in the primary loop.

The shortcode works on a page that doesn’t use the built in template, but I have no way of getting around the issue on the single event listings.
