Conflict with Woocommerce 7.5.0

    Not sure if I need to submit this here or in the WooCommerce support. There is a conflict with WooCommerce 7.5.0 and WP Cerber where the antispam prevents people from submitting orders. Turn off the antispam for other forms and it works. The log has them all listed as Spam form submission denied even though they were trying to place an order.

    I backed Woocommerce down to 7.4.1, turned antispam back on and it works fine.

  • I have 7.5.0 and the latest WP Cerber and do not have this issue. You will need to do the plugin dance. Deactivate all the plugins except for Woocommerce and WP Cerber and see if the problem exists. Then add back the plugins. There is certainly a plugin that is doing something that causes this conflict.

    Please try enabling “Safe Mode” in the Anti-spam settings and see if it has any impact on the issue.

    Hi Gregory,

    Yes, enabling safe mode worked. I was able to place an order.

    Will the spam protection be as good as it is without safe mode? ?? And is this the fix or will there be an update from you or Woo that will allow us to not use safe mode.
