Conflict with Woocommerce and All Discounts addon

    Hi, Firstly, I have really found the Yoast SEO plugin very nice, so thanks – however, there is a real conflict that is a serious issue for me as a woocommerce store operator.

    I am using a plugin called Conditional Discounts for WooCommerce by ORION https://www.orionorigin.com/product/conditional-discounts-for-woocommerce/

    However, on the product pages with this discount setting applied, the product page doesn’t show the discounted price – it only shows in the basket – when I disable Yoast, this goes away and all is as it should be.

    Whilst I realise, this could be a problem with the other addon, not yours, I do need an immediate work around to stop Yoast interfering with woocommerce dynamically created discounts on the product page – I’d really appreciate some help with this as, I will have to discontinue using Yoast unfortunately if there is no solution. Thanks

    Hello @solosails,

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin and the kind words. I tested what you described but could not replicate it. The discount is applied by the Conditional Discounts for WooCommerce plugin. Since there are different types of discounts offered by that plugin, could it be that we don’t have the same setup? Also, I am testing with the free version of the plugin as I don’t have access to the premium.

    Question: can you let me know the settings you have for your discount type? Could you share a screenshot of the discount setting when you go to edit the discvount in WordPress > Discounts > Discounts. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.
